To read DAISY talking books you need a DAISY player or a reading programme.

DAISY players and reading programmes

A number of different DAISY talking book players and reading programmes are available. The latest information on the development of reading programs and talking book players can be found on the web site of the DAISY Consortium. There you can also find links to manufacturers´ web sites.
The county councils in Sweden prescribe talking book players as free assistive technology for print disabled persons.

TPB Reader

TPB Reader is a small, user-friendly programme, including basic functions as navigation, bookmarks and search for specific pages or text in headings. TPB Reader is a Daisy 2.0 and Daisy 2.02 compliant talking book player for Windows. TPB Reader is available to download in an English version from The Swedish DAISY-consortium. Note that the page is in Swedish. TPB does not offer support on TPB Reader.
