Braille
TPB publishes approximately 300 titles in braille annually and stocks approximately 13 000 titles (2007) for lending purposes.
Many titles can also be purchased. Most braille borrowers have direct contact with TPB and many titles are produced on request.
TPB also provides picture books interleaved with braille and tactile picture books. Several projects have examined how people with visual disability perceive tactile pictures.
A consumer service for the deaf-blind and blind transcribes personal papers and correspondance, magazine articles, prescriptions, manuals etc.
The Swedish Braille Authority
sets braille standards and is linked to TPB.
